Welcome to Ballylanders N.S.
Our school is situated in the village of Ballylanders in south county Limerick.
Our school community has grown steadily over the past number of years and the school currently comprises of 5 mainstream class teachers, 2 Special Education teachers who work full time in the school and a shared Special Education Teacher, 3 Special Needs Assistants, a secretary, caretaker and a cleaner.
We welcome all pupils and strive to provide the very best education for all children attending our school, catering for individual needs in an inclusive and caring environment.
Our school offers a broad and balanced curriculum, placing emphasis on all pupils being active in their own learning. We believe in equality of opportunity for all, educational excellence and the promotion of care for oneself and others.
As you browse through our website you will see that we provide a wide range of curricular and extra-curricular activities for our pupils including: hurling, camogie, Gaelic football, Irish dancing, music and swimming.
All our pupils receive a hot lunch daily.
